Mr. Courtoy joined the Momentum Engineering team in 2010 and has worked in the engineering field since 2007. Since starting with MEC, he has assisted the senior staff with accident reconstruction, testing and computer simulation. Mr. Courtoy is trained in the use of 3-dimensional LIDAR scanning, as well as the sophisticated software programs used to process the scanner data. Mr. Courtoy has conducted vehicle inspections, site inspections, and advanced computer simulations. He helped design, build and test the MEC robotic control system used for vehicle testing.
Mr. Courtoy has assisted with the acquisition and analysis of test data, as well as correlating the data with the MEC computer simulation techniques employed in our accident reconstructions. He has been trained in vehicle testing and data acquisition methods.
Mr. Courtoy earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Southern California in 2008. He then earned and Master of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from USC in 2009. Mr. Courtoy has passed the California Fundamentals of Engineering exam and will become a Registered Professional Engineer in the State of California.
