As part of the accident reconstruction process, the engineers at Momentum
Engineering Corp. (MEC) are often asked to assess whether mechanical failure
was a causal factor in an accident. We have reconstructed accidents involving
failure of service brakes, heavy truck air brake systems, and many other
vehicle components. Our engineers have analyzed automobiles, heavy trucks,
motorcycles, bicycles and other types of mechanical systems.
As an example of our qualifications, Mr. Fatzinger holds an ASE certification
in Brakes, Suspension and Steering , as well as a Masters Degree in Engineering.
Additionally, he has over 10 years of experience as a mechanic.
